The Patriots are in Super Bowl LII and Tom Brady is in the hunt for his 6th super bowl ring! While he has many fans he also has many hatters. But at the end of the day, you have to respect the man! He is 40 years old and in the prime of his NFL career. Is he superhuman or special? I don’t think so. Here’s what I think we can learn from this. He has developed habits that have allowed him to succeed at a high level and looks to be getting better with age. His habits included sleeping 8+ hours a night, consistently eating healthy foods that will provide him with energy and optimize his fitness and health, and he continues to challenge himself physically with workouts that are designed to increase his speed, agility, strength and accuracy. If we all developed habits like this, we would see amazing results no matter what our profession. The lesson here is simple: To be elite, we must develop elite habits.
